Why do my hands feel oddly smooth after washing?
After hand washing with powdered detergent today, my palms feel sticky and smooth at the same time. And the portion of my skin before the knuckles are burning, and the burning gets worse under water, just water. while i was washing i added some amount of liquid chlorine bleach.

Wouldn't you imagine it's a chemical burn? Try putting 100% clear aloe vera on it. Always use gloves if you have to handle chemicals. I think you will be more sensitive after this.
Thanks but by evening the sticky smoothness was gone. But the burning is still there.
