Worried sick!!! Melanoma???
My son is 12 and has lots of moles! He always has. I recently had him checked and the dermatologist biopsied 2 moles. He says they looked like just abnormal moles. However after seeing them under a microscope he wants a second opinion. He sent the biopsy to UCSF and I'm freaking out! He said they will probably come back fine and that it's common practice to send for a second opinion but now I'm terrified my 12 year old has melanoma!! Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!
