derrier's disease

I have been treated for a number of years with Differin cream with very limited success.  Are there any new or alternate treatments available, or any clinics that specialize in this problem?

I HAVE HAD DERRIER'S FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS KNOW AND IT TAKES ME INTO LEVELS OF DEPRESSION. MY SKIN LOOKS AS IF IT IS COVERED IN LITTLE TINY BUMOS ALL OVER WHICH DON'T BOTHER ME AS FAR AS BEING ITCHY ANYMORE BUT IT IS NOT VERY ASTETICALY PLEASING. I WISH MORE RESEARCH COULD BE PUT INTO THIS. I.E WHAT FOODS COULD IRRITATE IT,WHAT SANITARY PRODUCTS WOULD BE BEST AND SO FORTH.  PERHAPS A PILL MEDICATION WOULD BE BETTER BECAUSE OFTEN TRANSDERMAL PRODUCTS ONLY CLOG THE POORS LEAVING IT ONLY ON THE SURFACE AND NOT INTO THE BLOODSTREEM,WHICH IS WHAT WOULD HAVE TO BE TARGETED DUE TO IT BEING AI INHARITED TYPE DISEASE.

Differin gel sounds like a pretty light treatment for Darier's Disease, which is a genetic condition resulting in widespread, dry rashes.  Are you sure that's what you have?  Perhaps a consultation at an academic teaching clinic would be a good idea.

Best.
