extremely small pain red bumps on tips of fingers and thumbs

Hello, this is my first time posting so i don't know if this is the correct place for my question or not. Anyways, about 6 months ago I noticed this small red circle under my skin on my thumb, a little bigger than the size of a needle and over a few weeks i watched it go from a few millimeters under my skin to the surface. when it reached the surface it became very painful and not knowing what to do i picked at it until it came off. the wound eventually healed and the spot on my thumb looks to be under the skin again. i thought everything was over with that until about a week ago i spotted another of these things on my ring finger. this one again started under the skin and went to the surface and once more i picked at it until it came off. it is very painful and i have been searching for similiar conditions but could find nothing. does anyone have any idea what this could be?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like dyshidrotic eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Also apply a good moisturizer on the fingers.

If still the symptoms do not improve then pls get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.Biopsy of the skin may be needed to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
