mole redness?

I have a small mole on my forehead, about the size of a sesame seed, that has been there since I was born. I am 14 now, and it's never done anything weird. Yesterday I found that it was tender to touch and was pink around it, similar to a pimple. It wouldn't be weird for it to be a pimple, considering I have normal break outs like every other teenager, but is this a pimple underneath the mole or something worse?

hi Pickle and welcome. I have had the same thing with my moles. They can be very sensitive to touching. My moles seem to have alot a nerves and small veins and dosent take much to irritate them. You could have rubbed it washing your face but its always good to see a doctor when moles change just to make sure your in good health. Dermetoligists know a great deal about these things. Im sure its nothing but its good to keep an eye on them.
