Hi,
I have suffered with extremely oily acne prone skin since I was a teenager-I'm now 42. What I use in the evening is Serious Skin Care's glycolic cleanser with dry hands and dry face, rinse, and then follow cleansing with the Daily Ritual Cleanser also by Serious Skin care with a wet face and hands. After cleansing with both cleansers I apply Nature's Cure for Females 5% benzoyl peroxide to my entire face. I also take the Nature's Cure pills AM and PM. In the morning, I wash with the Daily Ritual Cleanser with wet face and hands, pat dry and then apply Seban Liquid (the BEST oil control product I have ever used!) Seban can be purchased at www.cooperlabs.com. Serious Skin Care can be purchased at HSN.com and Nature's Cure at drugstore.com. My skin is clear and oil free all day and has been for the 2 years I have been using this routine.

Hi

Yes. Applying medications may give the skin an oily shine. I suggest that you apply sunblock on your face .Use a sunscreen with a matte finish. Avoid creams as this will make the face more  oily. Wash the face frequently with a mild cleanser. This way, the skin remains moisturized even after washing. This will help prevent excessive oil production. Apply, powder on you face especially over the T zone. This will help absorb the oil. If there are oil absorbent sheets available, you may use them to control the oil throughout the day.
