painful Stinging skin

Let try to explain. The type of stinging is not like when your feet or hands fall asleep, it is like needles pricking your skin at different locations. It will start on my feet, then my hands. When it is really bad, it moves to my caves, shins forearms ect... they seem to be spaced apart by seconds. its not all at one time. At time I feel like I am swatting at flies!  I had shingle when I was young (very young 8yrs old). I do have so called restless legs (self dx) and numbness in certain areas on my leg and toes, been told don't worry about that, so I don't. But this STINGING is driving me crazy. Please help

Well, I thought that the purpose of this sight was to help guide a person. I thought a Dr monitored the site and could possibly guide me in the right direction!  My so called Dr's have poked, prodded and guessed. One said I MIGHT have MS  Really? nothing I came across suggest that. Oh well I'll keep searching. Thanks for all the help.

Hi Gert, ive had similar and it was from a pinched nerve in my back and neck. From what i learned, all these feelings like you discribed are from nerves reacting to pressure.
