Eyebrow Trouble

I have an eyebrow hair buried in a puncture wound that I cannot reach with tweezers will my skin heal if the hair remains in the wound?

It is also not a loose hair it is a hair that is still connected to the follicle if that makes a difference

There is some clear discharge that exits the wound and it is a little sore but I have been putting neosporin on the area

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi.

Yes, the skin will heal even in the presence of the hair. The hair may gradually be extruded. I suggest that you avoid picking on the area as this may only cause further irritation and may even lead to an infection. Wash the area with only a mild and bland cleanser such as Cetaphil. Do not forcibly pick on the hair as an infection may delay the healing process.

Is there any redness or discharge?

Any swelling in the area?
