scratching off a mole
hello !
last night i got an itch near my birthmark and instinctively i scratched it, catching a mole with my nail. a bit of it is starting to come off, it's a bit lighter than the rest of the mole. so far it's been itchy, but not too much. i put some cream to help heal it and secured it with a cotton pad and a plaster. is it going to be fine? will it completely come off or just the part that i scratched? thank you !

Obviously, you don't want to pick at a mole on purpose, but it does happen on occasion- since it just happened, watch for it to heal up. If you are seeing signs that it's getting worse or just not healing, make an appointment with a doctor, other wise, you should be just fine.
