skin under the foreksin

When I was playing street hockey about 3 days ago, i got hit in my crotch by the ball. It was painful, but the pain didnt last for very long time. The next morning, i have noticed some discharge coming out of my penis, which i have assumed to be normal due to some damages to my urethra. But later that night, as i was taking a shower, i pulled my foreskin back, and noticed that the area that i got hit became really red, and there are pin sized sores (whitish red) on the skin. Is this normal? or should i go see a family doctor?

Hello,
This redness is due to trauma inflicted by the ball and breakage of the blood vessels in the sensitive skin of penis.
Apply warm compresses,Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it.You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the symptoms  persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
