Also, sometimes my face will swell. I was on an antibiotic and I thought it was that but once in a while it will be swollen when i wake up
Thank you so much for your reply. I've looked online at infections (staph, fungal, bacterial) and also at rosacea, it doesn't look the same. Like I said I've been to 3 doctors and they didn't know or didn't care because they kind of just pushed me out. I've had the topical creams (isotretinoin) for redness and different pills for acne (Nothing Has Helped) at all, I get dry but nothing fades or changes, even after months of usage. I look like i have a mask cheeks and chin. No other symptoms present my face is just super red all of the time it doesnt come and go and it's not lighter at times it is always beat red. I've always had mild acne so I think it is throwing off the actual problem, I can deal with some acne but being red is horrible. There is Something else going on aside from just acne and I've been told rosacea isn't what it is, its a constant problem.
Hi,
How are you? Are there other signs or symptoms present? Rosacea is a skin disease that causes redness and pimples on your nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead. The redness may come and go. Rosacea often flares when something causes the blood vessels in the face to expand, which causes redness. Things that cause a flare-up are called triggers. Common triggers are exercise, temperature changes, sun and wind exposure, hot weather, stress, spicy foods, alcohol, and hot baths.
There is no cure, but you can control their symptoms and keep the disease from getting worse. If antibiotic creams or pills do not work, stronger medicines such as isotretinoin may be used. Surgery or other treatments may help your skin look better if you have advanced rosacea. Choices may include dermabrasion, cryosurgery, or laser treatment.Discuss which option is suited for you with your dermatologist. Take care and keep us posted.
woder if it could be Rosecea I have heard this causes you to go red, my brother took anti biotics for it.
