You dsy, "A normal blood pressure is 120/80." I question the world "normal." What those figures actually convey is that anyone with them does not have high-blood pressure. What is not generally talked about is that people with "normal" or low blood-pressue are not immune to strokes or heart attacks. Half the people DeBakey operated on had not been hypertensive.
A normal blood pressure is 120/80. They like to have the bottom number lower. People who exercise, are healthy, thin, relaxed may have BP 110/60s-70's which is awsome! If you are feeling fine, walking, talking and not having problems-yea!
If it were, then I would have died long ago. Usually my blood pressure is around 100 over 60. No doctor ever showed surprise, approval maybe, but not surprise.
