For specific dishes add it at the end of your search string. eg, diabetes recipes chicken
Here is a general idea ...
Take your dinner plate and divide it into quarters. One quarter should be your meat - about 3-4 oz usually fish or chicken, one quarter should be your starch - about 1/2 cup, and two quarters should be your vegetables. What you fill up these quarters with is up to your taste buds and tolerance! Generally want to keep your protein to carbohydrate ratio 1 Gm protein to 2 Gm Carbohydrate and can have all the watery vegetables you want.
You can find lots of sites with healthy recipes - I like The World's Healthiest Foods at http://www.whfoods.com/ and his healing with foods site is up-to-date and interesting - http://www.whfoods.com/diseasestoc.php. Right now, I enjoy eating quinoa - using it instead of rice.
