sore not healed after months
I thought the brown spot on my shin was a scar... when i rubbed it it was very sore and it opened up... is this part of diabetes or is this something else.... (diagnosed last june type 2) my other scratches and bruises are healing fine.

Keep working on the blood sugar. Very good control will minimise complications. Show it to your doctor tomorrow and you can get advice. Best wishes.
blood sugar has been between 90 and 170...my mornings are high... but they have come down more... ( i was on steroids for a bit). i do have an appt for tomorrow...

this may well be part of diabetes, as skin condition like this can be seen. How good is your blood sugar control? Target should be 80 - 140.
I advise you show this wound to your doctor also.
