When was the last time you had your medication/ insulin updated? You may be taking too much for how your condition is progressing. You may be doing WAY better than what you used to do. If you're getting a lot of lows I would definitely say you need to talk to your doc and see what can be done. I know sometimes after I work out I will have low sugars or when I'm at work and we get real busy and it take a while for me to go to lunch. Hope you do well because low sugar can be just as horrible as high sugar. Good Luck!

We are all different and people with Type II can also experience hypoglycemia. Various things can lead to low blood sugars. If you go without eating for a period of time, your blood sugar can drop, or if you exercise strenuously (especially if you do both in combination). If you are on insulin than taking too much insulin for the carbs you are eating can definitely cause low blood sugars and these can be the more dangerous kind because you can drop very rapidly. If you are getting frequent lows, talk to your doctor. If they are occasional try and see if there is a pattern like you are going too long without eating. If you are on insulin you probably need to reevaluate your basal and/or bolus doses. You should treat anything below 60. Treating means taking glucose tablets or drinking juice. The tendency is to overtreat and than go high, so it takes some experimentation to find what amount works well for you. If you take two glucose tablets you can test again in 15-20 minutes and see if you have come up enough.
