Are you still taking these? If so, is it still working for you?
Are you still taking these? If so, is it still working for you?
I use it for dieting AND IT WORKS!!!! The way my pharmacist explained it, the MZ levels out your glucose levels so that you don't get the huge insulin spikes, which is what makes us hungry or have cravings for sweets and carbs. When I take this, I only take 1 just before a meal with carbs (I don't take them when having just a carb-free snack like fruit or veggies) and I find my hunger is practically non-existant! I eat yogourt, blueberries, strawberries, ground flax seed and granola for breakfast, maybe with some whole, raw almonds. Then lunch is a piece of fruit, not a banana (Maybe 1/2 a grapefruit, an apple or an orange) and 1/2 a whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter. Afternoon snack is a piece of fruit, or sliced cucumbers, red peppers etc. Dinner is a Gourmet Healthy Steamer, Sweet Sesame Chicken, or some grilled meat, a bit of white rice (1/2 cup) and grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms. A snack later is celery with or without peanut butter. I lost 2.5 pounds yesterday!!! I usually lose about a pound a day on this diet, but I really believe that the MZ tablets totally curb my hunger, I'm never hungry and feel energized and rested. Oh, and water water water. I don't drink anything but water, sometimes with a splash of lemon. I'm down 9.5 pounds in 10 days. Just my 2 cents....
I am type 2 Diabetic, and I read about this in a magazine and went to CVS and paid $32.49 for 60. I followed the directions, AND IT IS WORKING FOR ME. My blood Sugar levels have never been so low. I am now on 1 with each meal, and I will include this in my daily routine. Weight loss is not drastic, especially this time of year, but slow is better than zero. I feel better, and by the way, GNC sells it for $29.99. I take Cinnamon with chromium picolinate, and omega 3-6-9. All which support healthy sugar metabolism.. Hope this is somewhat helpfull. God bless..good luck.

Interesting,,, I would love to see a real list of proven foods that do help from a doctor but most of em shy away from any natural cures or helpers in most diseases, some for fear of ever lessening the use of phama drugs cos many of them make money and other bonuses from those companies and some cos they just dont study it.
I have heard that cinnamon helps and drinking orange juice (not from concentrate) during a meal that is high in fats to help the body push fats away from where they cause so many problems. Would love to really know what works and what doesnt, mostly we can only hear someone give a personal result and that is about it.
Please let us know if you can what does happen and mean while I ight give it a try too, good luck with it.
My doctor says be as close to the atkins diet as I can and that I can eat as much meat as I want and yet others say that is not the way to go so I get very confused and dont know which way to go.
i read an article in the womans mag, thought whatever!! but also thought why not?? struggle with sweet things, and crave carbs, and do have mood swings... so i bought a box and started today April 30 , 2 tablets with each meal for 10 days then 1 tab with each meal there after.. WATCH THIS SPACE will report back in 2 months.
do mulberry zuccarin help type2diabetes
I have yet to hear from New Nordic or any of the many suppliers of New Nordic Mulberry Zuccarin that I emailed asking for test results and/or research documents stating that the mulberry leaf does low glucose levels in humans.
What I did find in my investigation was the mulberry leaf was originally grown and harvested to feed silkworms. These claims of Japanese drinking mulberry tea for 700 years is ridiculous. Japanese written history only dates back 300 years. Only in recent years, since the early 1980's, did Japan begin to drink mulberry tea.
The mulberry claim is "deoxynojirimycin, which is said to have an effect in lowering the blood-sugar level closely related to diabetes, is abundant in mulberry leaf. That is why, today, mulberry tea is considered to be a health food." Key words are "said to have". Doesn't state it does have. Until someone can show me proof and/or research documents, I have to chalk this one up as another health fad.
But if it taste good, makes you feel good, and is non-toxic go for it. If you do try it, please post back in 2-3 months and let us know how you are and whether drinking mulberry teat has actually helped lower your glucose levels.
Never tried it. And probably no one else either hence the no reply on your earlier post. I sent Nordic, the makers of Mulberry Zuccarin, an email requesting documentation on their testing to back their claim. To be honest with you, this sounds like another supplement scam. I'll post back to this thread if Nordic responds.
