New to Forum

Hi, new to this forum.  I'm a Lean Type II Diabetic and don't respond to oral meds.  I have been placed on Lantus and started that in Jan. 08.   I run fastings in the 130s to 140s (on a good day I'll read out in the high 120s!) and depending on the time of month, what I have eaten and my pain level from fibromyalgia - my 2 hours are usually 140s to 160s. (Normally in 150s).  My last HC1a was 6.1.   Anyone else out there that is lean, type 2 and has to use insulin?  Has anyone used Lantus and had a side effect of intermittent nausea even when sugar levels are okay?  Anyone know of a good CAM doc for diabetes in the Washington state area? (Moving there soon).  How bout a good Endo that accepts CHAMPUS?
Thanks for any help/advice/etc.  Been goin' round and round with this freaky little thing called Diabetes since 2001 and all perpectives are good to hear/see.
Thanks

Be so kind to explain "Lean Type II Diabetic " for it is not a normally used medical term here in the states.
