Sick and Tired

Hi I am not diabetic that I know of at this point. I have had drops in blood sugar when active without eating, etc. The past five days after laprscpc hernia surg I have been weak in legs, mentally drunk, weak, dizzy, slugish, the things I associate with low sugar. I have not taken pain pills etc. My monitor readings are all in the range of  100 to 104 anywhere from 30 min to 2 hr after eating. My wake up was 87. From what I read this would not cause hypo symptoms. Is this correct?  and should my sugar go higher than this after eating? Is 100 normal all the time? I have eatn small meals but frequent including OJ but always feel this way. Do you suspect sugar? Is there other things that mimic low sugar? Thanks

Hello,

your blood sugar numbers sound perfect.   Target upon waking up is < 90 to be perfectly normal.

2 hours after eating, normal is 100 or less, anything higher than 120 is possibly a problem.

Your symptoms do not come from your blood sugar levels.  You should see your doctor to see if there is any other cause of what you are feeling.
