I posted it to this forum because my husband is diabetic and he has been to the doctor who changed his medicin from Zolid to Glucophage saying the swelling in ankles will go away but it hasn't and while getting his test done we find out that his hemoglobin is dropping every day.

Curious to know why you posted a hemoglobin question on this diabetes forum, yet fail to mention anything about diabetes. It is best to direct your question/s to your husbands attending physician as there are numerous causes which can cause the body to produce fewer red blood cells than normal.
