You really need to see literally where you're at. The only way to do this is to test at home. You can't wait the typical intervals to see you physician if you want to make any sense as to where your at from day to day. If aren't doing so already, TEST! A meter is very cheap today. You can get one at Walmart for less than $10.00
Another thing to consider. if you're 100 lbs. overweight, you most likely suffer from obstructive sleep apnea. This is a sneaky, debilitating condition, but can be easily fixed with CPAP. Sufferers usually feel dead tired and weak throughout during the day, fall asleep at the desk, and may have a hard time concentrating. I know because I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I've been wearing a small nose mask for 7 years, and it literally restarted my life.
What are you doing to control YOUR BG? What are your numbers? A1c Fasting BG, 1 hour after eating. how many carbs do you eat at a meal?
Diabetes is a disease WE have to control, BG changes too fast for the MD to control it, carbohydrates raise BG ALL CARBS, stress illness all raise BG. exercise and drugs lower BG
The studies I read showed that 55% of the people that had sleeve/gastric bypass re-gained the weight and diabetes after 5 years. So its not a magic solution. You need to take control of your health.
