Please help?

Ok so I have just come down with a massive cold....

But ive also noticed...todays in a row...at night ive been getting the most unbelievable hunger. I mean I literally feel like I could never ever get full up...Its also accompanied by feeling of weakness.

I have been having a fair amount of sugar (a soft drink ad a chocolate bar a day)....Eating sugar when I get this hunger doesnt really seem to eleviate it though.

Im worried it might be a sign of diabetes or worse major hyopglycemia. I did have a blood test which included a blood glucose test...about a month ago.

Im just a mess and worried. I do suffer from anxiety and depression also by the way. And I have flu like symptoms.

Any help on anything ive said will be great.

It appears you haven't seen your doctor for testing to resolve your fears and worries. You have a lot of issue going on that only a doctor can uncover and treat. Make an appointment to see your doctor asap. Its time you did.

Ok...I take that back...

One question!...Sorry!

I just brought a glucose home monitor on the internet that will arrive tommorow.

Does anyone know how I can use that to test for insulin resistance? Because I know that its a seperate test but I have heard they can be connected?

Any help pleaseee

Ps: To add to my worries I have just found out about insulin resistance. Would a normal blood test in the UK include insulin? and if so and it was all normal would that mean I dont have insulin resistance? Or to find out wuld I have to do a fasting test and one after having just eaten?
