I have another question??? Hope someone can help.

I put a question out there a few days ago about stomach spasms.  I am new to relux, so I don't know what I can blame on medicine, and what is something  different.  I have been having some kind of spasm on my left side.  It is mainly when I am sitting down.  It feels like something is  swelling, or moving around.  It is just barely to the left of center, and right up against my ribs.  Also, I have noticed that my urine is cloudy.  Could this be a reaction  of some of the medicine that I am taking?  I am not having any burning.  I don't know how to deal with all of these things.  I am 33 and feel like I am falling apart.  I left a urine speciman yesterday at the dr. office.  The nurse just  looked at it under the microscope and said that it had a lot of crystals in it and to drink more.  I think I drink quite a bit, and I only drink  water.  So I  hope someone has some answers.  Please  reply.  Thanks

Thanks for replying.  I am going to try to take in more fiber and see if that makes a difference.  I Have never been "regular" with my bowel movements.  But, I have never considered it a problem.  I was taking 2 Nexium day, and I was not feeling constipated, but I had to be.  I do have one question that I hope you can answer.  I have seen people post about having floating stools.  Is that a symptom of something?  I have been noticing that mine stools have been floating.  Thanks again.

The microbiologist would have been able to see bacteria or yeast in your urine sample by microscope. The crystals are the clue. You probably aren't taking enough water with your medicine (do you take calcium supplements, by the way?). Not taking enough fluids would also cause constipation which in turn would cause discomfort in your large colon. Just a thought you might want to consider. Good luck.

Iamamy ask for a culture [your urine]for fungi along with I assume an automatic bacterial culture. to try and identify any bugs. Though it may take several weeks, incubated at 25-30
