Pain in upper back

I have been experiencing pain in the upper left side of my back.  The pain is on the left side next to my shoulder blade, and goes down my arm making it feel week.  Some say that this could have something to do with bad posture but iam not sure. I would appreciate if anyone knows anything about this they reply please. Thank You.

Hi - Pain down your left arm could be a sign of a hiatal hernia.  Does it feel like you are having a heart attack?  That is how my hiatal hernia was detected.  I thought I was having a heart attack and the pain was in my check and ran down my left arm.  Just something to think about.  Happy Holidays!

this is where pancreas pain is, as for down the arm could be a reactive pain all nerves are connected, you very well could of pulled something.  If it doesn't get better, I would have a blood test done to check amylase and lipyse levels these are enzymes of your pancreas, if elevated pancreas is not functioning well.  Let us know what happens.
