yup I pefer a 'proper' whole wheat or grain bread spread with butter ....
I like mustard made with coarse ground seed, a mix of white and black...rather than the smoother textured condiments.
A Subway sandwich is much more a hoagie or poor-boy than a true Submarine sandwich, which is much more properly made from a full loaf of Italian or Vienna bread.
Do you mean the french Moutard Dejon ? I guess subway took over a lot of sandwich making, but to me its not like a nice slice of fresh bread, subs always look big and chunky ......
My favorite sandwich bread is light rye with caraway seeds followed by dark rye, Italian or whole wheat.
I love cold meats and cheeses, preferring the meat shaved thin and the cheese about 4 times that in thickness.
Brown mustard with horseradish is a must.
Just to start it off heres a one to make you laugh... the Brits giggle and wont try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I love em , but they will eat a cheddar cheese and jelly sanwich ...sorry you Brits ..LOL
