Peter called the day of Pentecost the last days, so if that was the last days, we are even more so.

I know what you're saying. We have to be careful so that we don't get pulled into sin along with the person and that can be easy to do. Sometimes it's best to just step back and pray and give it to God.

Amen sis i agree with you! People never gave up on me as well! But what if a person knows what they are doing & does it anyway the scriptures say stay away from them! So what do we say about the scriptures do we go against it! The bible also says shake the dust off ur feet & keep going!!

I guess that's when we have to just really pray for the person that God will open their eyes to the truth. We can't save them, only God can. But God can do anything, even miracles. I've seen Him change an awful lot of hearts, even stubborn, prideful hearts! That's what gives me hope for some of my family members, that they will finally fall on their faces before God. We can never give up that hope or stop praying! We may be their only hope.

Amen Sis I agree! But what if a believer that has been walking this walk 4a long time & still goes against GODS will! I'm not arguing with you trust me we all need prayer because we all fall short of the glory of GOD! But after awhile If a person doesn't change from their ways that person becomes double minded!

What if they're not deliberately twisting it but are just unsure or confused? What if Satan is just trying to keep them from the truth? I think we all have to be careful because Satan attacks the believers more than the unbelievers because he knows he already has the unbelievers! So, we have to remember that some people's faith is not as strong and we have to urge them to stay in the Word, prayer, etc. or they will get tripped up by Satan. I know! Because I've let Satan beat me up so many times. It's hard! I wouldn't have been able to stand up if it hadn't been for my brothers and sisters in Christ.

True, true, but I do think we have to do all we can to try to help point people to God's Word and to the Lord Himself. After all, we too were lost at one time and some kind person must have prayed and led us back to the Lord, right?
I do have such a heart for people. There's so many lost souls out there. So many living in darkness. We all need to try to share our light and pray, pray, pray!

I don't know if I would say stay away from them. I think we should talk to them and explain the reasons why we believe and help them understand. We must always pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ (as well as the unbelievers, of course).

God said "My people perish from lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6)
Notice he said MY people. These are the Christians! The believers! God is trying to point us all back to the true knowledge that will save us, His Word. We should encourage each other to not give up, to always go to the scriptures, and to always pray for each other. A 3 cord strand is not easily broken. When we band together, we have strength and Satan has a harder time tempting or attacking us. He looks for the weak ones, the ones who fall behind.

I will always be grateful to my best friend because many, many times I grew so discouraged and stopped reading the bible. She always, always pointed me back to the Word. She never rebuked me but she would send me scriptures, pray for me and with me, and gently guide me back to the Word for my source of strength and hope.

Many Christians don't believe we're in End Times because that's something fearful to them. It doesn't have to be fearful but we do need to be prepared.
Some Christians are too caught up in worldy things too and sometimes need a wake up call that these things aren't what's important. I think it's so easy to fall into that trap because we do live in the world.
That's why it's so important to have another brother or sister in Christ to help show us because sometimes we just don't see it in us! It's humbling but good for all of us!

1You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

6They are the kind who work their way into people’s homes and win the confidence ofa vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. 7(Such women are forever following new teachings, but they are never able to understand the truth.) 8These teachers oppose the truth just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses. They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. 9But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are, just as with Jannes and Jambres.

Paul’s Charge to Timothy

10But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, and my endurance. 11You know how much persecution and suffering I have endured. You know all about how I was persecuted in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra—but the Lord rescued me from all of it. 12Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will deceive others and will themselves be deceived.
14But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. 15You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
