ED or Coolidge?

Is it ED or Coolidge Syndrome?  Just turning 80.  OH is ten years older and not great to look at.  Still interested apparently.  Sorry.  No sex 15 years. Don't 'fool around'.  Prostate gone 10+ years ago.  Overall health exc.  Super-fit, interested in things.  Had trouble masturbating more than once a month but pump (built my own) seems to fix it.  May fade with use.  Pill makes me feel bad so don't use it.

Not sure what OH is? Are you saying that you are aroused or not? Coolidge Syndrome is something where you have renewed sexual interest when a new partner is introduced into the picture. You have no prostate you say? Erectile dysfunction can be a side effect of prostate removal. Are you saying that you became aroused enough to masturbate with your home made pump and that is what you are curious about? I'm just trying to understand what exactly you are asking about.

OH other half.  'Fooling around' is not permitted.  She was raised that males initiate and talking about these things is difficult with language difference (French).  She may feel if I were a better man or not 'lying' I could get aroused.  Regular accusations of (mental) infidelity. After nearly 25 years I don't want her to tear down the structure we share.  I suppose the next logical step is to get counseling.  I never suggested before but I feel it would be resisted.
Oh, okay. Thank you for the explanation. Do you mean marriage counseling? It can help. It's also hard especially with someone that has fixed thinking such as your wife. We all want understanding. And basic anatomy of aging means that any man could have ssues with this. ED is real. Happens to the best of us. Have you tried ED medication?
Like viagra?  Yes a long time ago.  Gives me heart palpitations.  Uncomfortable.  Of course no spontaneity.  It's difficult when discussing feelings and needs does not happen.  In her view it must be automatic or it's my fault.  Like she is 40 and ready.  Just recently she is getting more control-oriented.  Not like losing her marbles, but...I'm no expert in this.  I am an engineer and technician.  Next week I am in France with her and the subject may come up.  I must be ready to work on whatever bothers her.  She thinks when I look at spam female solicitations (for the eye candy) I am looking to replace her.
ODAT.
Meds?  Yes used it for a while but then the bottle got emptied without use as she suspected I would use it with other women.  Bought some more...Disappeared.  In addition a full pill gives heart palpitations.  1/2 only slightly effective.  As you know males are 'visual'.  What I see you don't want to spread.  Skin like cottage cheese...Should I find that exciting?  The last 10-15 years have been painful in that category.  I guess I have lived too long.
