Definately go and get them checked out.. To rule out retinal detachement. I have a lot of floaters in both of my eyes. I dont know why i got them. I had went to the dentist for a root canal and they came after that... anyone have any ideas.. Good luck ...
Did you go to an EYE doctor and get an eye exam? Any floaters that occur with flashes should be investigated immeditately to rule out not-so-innocent causes of floaters (retinal detachment!) Floaters generally don't disappear after 4 weeks, usually takes several months or ever a year. Are you sure they were gone or did you just begin to ignore them? My advice is going back to the eye doctor and getting an appointment to rule out retinal detachment. If that is ruled out, you have what we like to call 'floaters and flashes' and occur more often as you get older and the vitreous ages. Good luck. Travel,OD
well every complaint of flashes probably needs to be investigated with a dilated eye exam to rule out retinal problems. you probably need a dilated eye exam fairly quickly b/c if it is a retinal problem time is of the essence.
i have no idea if these 'new' flashes/floaters are related to your october floaters or not.
