Astigmatism

Dear Dr. hagan:
Yesterday i went to an eye dr in abu dhabi bcs my baby girl 3 yrs was blinking for some days so she had allergy and while doing the eye test exam i felt sad bcs an astigmatism appears on her eyes. 1.75 and 1.25. the dr told me that she may need glasses but on her 4 or 5th yr and another dr told me that this is slight and she may not need glasses at all but only while reading or watching tv. Am really feeling upset bcs i dont like a baby to wear glasses and like to make his movements fixed and not feeling free. plz i would like to know ur advice

I suggest you to wear eyeglasses because it does no harm to a kid's eyes,the surgery usually is very bad to children's health.
