Dear CybermMeg22,
I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD. It is impossible to make an appropriate diagnosis without examining your eye. I would recommend that you stop the water washes and calendula water batch as well as the topical antibiotic cream. It is possible that you may have allergies in addition to something else.

Blister on eyeball?
Dear Doc, I have re-occuring swelling of left eye (both eyeballs seem to have a bluish halo around them giving them a glassy look), but a few days ago the eye felt as if there was something in it. It hasn't improved much, and I noticed a blister (watery bubble) under the top lid, on the eyeball itself. The eye suffers irritation, redness, swelling and burning. I do have an astimatism on that eye, and I am a bit short-sighted, but cannot afford my new prescription lenses yet, so I read without glasses.
I have used extensive water-washes to try to alleviate the 'sharp grittiness' feel, and a calendula -water bath more lately. I applied a topical anti-biotic cream to the eye this evening and took my usual chronic pain meds, which include high brufen doses and this seems to have calmed the eye a bit.
Ought I to worry? Will it heal itself? And finally, if you have time, what causes this odd unpleasantness?
Oh, and why do my eyeballs look blue and glass-like, but yellow on top of that, with very apparent red veins running through and over the yellowness. And the eyeball feels swollen/pressured in the socket at times. Are these issues related? Normal?
Could it be the high morphine levels I am on? Or a side-effect thereof? is this sort of effect a useful sign warning of something?
