Blob of floaters

Hi,
I typically get floaters in both eyes, about 5-6 per eye, they are round some with a dot in the middle some not, I've had them for years.

Yesterday I noticed some new floaters, a HUGE clump of them, like 50 in a blob that floated across the bottom half of my vision. I noticed this blob float by maybe twice, and haven't seen it since.

At the time I freaked out and started thinking the worst, I started searching my vision for light flashes fearing a retinal detachment. Thats when I thought I noticed a small white streak going from the bottom of my vision up about 1/4 of the way to the middle. Like a white line. It only lasted a split second and was gone. But I didn't see anything else, and haven't seen anything since. And the blob of floaters has dissapeared.

I suffer from Migraines and typically notice my floaters more when I am getting a headache. Could this have to do with that at all? Should I even be worried? Since they are gone now?

Thank you!

The problem has it has nothing to do with migraines. The description of the floaters is not typical and could represent bleeding in your eye and or the formation of a retinal tear. See an Eye MD ophthalmologist ASAP even though the blob has gone away. Find one at www.aao.org
