Bloodshot and mildly achy eye

Hello!  For the past 3-4 days, the inside corner of my left eye has been bloodshot.  For the most part it doesn't bother me.  At most, it occassionally feels a bit achy - similar to if you have a bad headache and it's uncomfortable to move you're eyes too fast.  Other than that, there is no real pain associated with it.  Any suggesstions as to what it is or if I should be concerned.

Dear stpauliegrrl76,

I would recommend that you see an eyeMD.  It is impossible to ascertain a diagnosis without a more in depth history and an eye examination.  These symptoms do sound like you need to see an eyeMD and I would not ignore them.
