I really encourage you to call him on Monday.
Were the cobwebs always in the center of your vision--even before surgery?
Was the yellow light there before surgery?
Is the yellow light like a thin arch, or a wide one?
I have a lot of experience with detachments and seeing things.
I f you see anything new before Monday, call him.
I hope you will be fine.
Hello,
I am seeing the same black cobwebs and floating spots, that I had before the laser surgery was done three days ago. I also see a yellow light especially if in a dark room at night, that appears in the corner of my eye. This light is shaped like an arch and does not flash. I will call the doctor's office on Monday, with my concerns. My next scheduled appointment is May 29. I am worried that the cobwebs( that remind me of a smudge of dirt that you might see on a window pane or on your eyeglasses), might never go away. The problem is it is located right in the center of my vision. I am grateful that my retina did not detach. And if I have to live with this then so be it. Thank you for your repy.
Laser can cause you to see crossed lines, that may look like cobwebs to you. You could call on Monday and ask, if your next appt is not soon.
Also, as the doctor says, laser does not cure floaters.
Laser surgery does not decrease or disolve floaters. Discuss this with your surgeon next visit.
