Retinitis w/ cystoid macular edema?
Hi, my girlfriend has retinitis with cystoid macular edema in her left eye. The other eye is fine. What is the best treatment for this? Injection? What is the approximate cost of this with no insurance. And what are good treatment places in the San Francisco Bay Area? Thanks....

Depends what the cause is and her age. She needs to be under the care of a retina specialist. Search www.aao.org under the patient search portal. As long as she sees a board certified retinal specialist, they can figure out what best course of treatment will be.
