Dr Kutryb

Hi
31 year old male.I need a eye doctors help here. I had LASIK back in 2000 at TLC. Perfect vision until  about 7 weeks ago, i was watching tv and in my left eye all the colors started going in and out and i had to leave the tv and go into my room.then on my upper eye lid this big red bump (left eye)came up then was gone in a day (vision was still blurry) the next morning my left eye got blurry. i could not read street signs or anything, so i went straight to the eye dr and he took pics etc said optic nerve is fine and eyes look just fine, well i have been having trouble with colors especially red like the colors are fading... it is scaring me and the sharpness is gone. I had the VEP test which came back perfect. He did not see Opitc Neritus at all. I had MRI W/ and w/out contrast, and clean ever since my face went numb, eye lids went numb etc, i started having eye problems. they ruled out  TIA and MS. any idea what is going on and how it can be corrected...Like i am still looking though fog and no sharpness.also i have had headaches too around my eye and right in the middle between two eyes where nose starts. feels like my eyes are not tearing since face went numb and eye lids.. Like i am looking though a fog.. My eye doc suggested a muscle spasm in my eye doing this???

I have spoke with my opt  of 23 years and he says its anxiety and stress. there is no optic neuritis, he looked into my eyes and did everything, and says eyes look healthy........ he said my optic nerve looked perfect... another doctor said that it could be a virus in my eye and went to my optic nerve.. i know, symptoms are confusing.. he said it was a type of palsy. I went to an opt neurologist too, and he said that i needed more tests done. So i got the VEP test, came out fine. i am not experiencing perminant vision loss, i still have it but it is fuzzy and blurry.........

Your symptoms and what you have told me so far are confusing.  I really relate  not of this to your lasik or to the bump on your eyelid.  It appears you are having some type or of transient or permanant vision loss??  In left eye only??
You definitely need to see a neuro-ophthalmologist right away.  You are obviously having some problem that has not yet been  identified.  Could be some type of optic neuropathy, optic neuritis, macular disorder like central serous retinopathy.  Tests that might help include OCT scan of macula, corneal topography, flourescein angiogram, visual field test, pupillary testing, color vision testing.  Good Luck.
