Post cataract headaches

I had cataract surgery last April 8 and I had been lightheaded and have headaches since the day after surgery. I never really get headaches but I do have vertigo attacks once in a while but this is totally different. I told the eye surgeon and he said it had nothing to do with the eye surgery. I went to urgent care twice and they could not find anything wrong . I had my eyes checked for new prescription glasses and it helped specially for driving and when I'm in open spaces( like grocery or mall). The optometrist and the physical therapist both suggested that the headaches are eye-related but the ophthalmologist insists that I should see my primary doctor. He said that if they don't see anything that he will have to operate my other good eye to balance it out. Is that possible to touch a good eye to correct a problem? A this point I am willing to do that because I had been miserable for over a month now. I have not had a normal day since the surgery .

Thank you for the advice. I saw my optometrist and he agrees that contacts might help. I got them today and I am trying to get used to them. I hope this will help .

I'm very sorry this has been such a difficult situation. If the eyes are too different, then this will cause symptoms of unbalanced vision (possibly eye strain, feelings of dizziness or clumsiness). You can get a contact lens prescription or have a surgically implanted Intraocular Lens (IOL) in the good eye. I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
