Blurry mist after cataract surgery

Hello,
         My uncle has had Cataract surgery...one year back and he recently finds a bluriness has developed in one Eye.
His vision feels as if he has constant foginess...He is 55 yrs old and suffers from minor blood pressure as well

Can you please advise what this may possibly be.

The most likely possiblity is posterior capsule opacification which can be fixed with a painless, in-office yag laser procedure that takes just a few minutes.  Other possible causes that come to mind include corneal edema or macular degeneration.  Have him see an EyeMD Ophthalmologist - this should be an easy problem to work on.
