What is juvenile open angle glaucoma? Is it treatable?

I am 22 years old and a glaucoma suspect.Could i possibly have juvenile glaucoma?& Will i go blind even after proper treatment? I am highly myopic in one eye -11 & no family history of glaucoma.

Juvenile open angle glaucoma is a form of open angle glaucoma which occurs in young adults.  It is treatable, but frequently requires surgery, as it may be quite resistant to eye drop therapy to lower the eye pressure.  There often is a genetic component to this form of glaucoma.
