IOL Master

I had my IOL Master test and corneal measurements on July 15 (for a fast growing cataract).  My surgery was scheduled for August 13, but I have postponed the surgery while waiting for my other eye to heal (from macular edema).  How long do you think the July 15 test will remain accurate?

Dear sally987,

The IOL master measures the length of the eye. This measurement should not change.

Thank you so very much, Dr. Feldman~

And the corneal measurements stay the same, as well?  I will have my second surgery in a couple of weeks.

I am having toric lenses implanted.  While I was in pre-op for the first surgery, a technician came in and marked my corneas.  Is that standard procedure...for the technician (not the surgeon) to make the initial reference markings?

Thanks again for dedicating your valuable time to the forum!

My both eyes tested on 7/23/09 and my cataract sugery scheduled on september 24. My surgeon has decided using T5 to implant in my left eye for me on 8/3/09. A reference point for you.
