Ocular Steroids/Vasoconstriction

Do ocular steroids such as alrex cause vasoconstriction?

Not really, but they can help reduce the release of things like histamines and leukotrienes that can contribute to redness.

Thanks for the quick response, a follow up: nothing but steroids has helped with my posterior bleph, i have burning, eyelid inflammation and very bloodshot eyes; will alrex eventually lead to cataract/or glaucoma if i use it daily for the next say 20 years- is it an inevitability even if I haven't been a steroid responder up until this point?
