Optic Neurious

Is it possible to have ON but know one can diagonsis.....I have seen 2 eye dr;s one it neuro-opt, at very prestigiuos hospital. My eyes are 20/20 field test fine, color test fine, 2 office exams fine, ver test fine, oct fine 2 times, yet left eye is been blurry for 3 weeks I also notice difference in color between the 2 eyes but its minor. Vision most noticable when reading looking at computer, reading signs.
My MRI did show some inidentified white foci, but all dr's including a separate neuro do not seemed concerned??
Could ON really be missed by this many dr's?

I suppose it is possible.  Neuro-ophthalmologists are usually extremely thorough and excellent at making diagnoses.  It's just what they do - they're the braniest of our field.  It may be that they can't make the diagnosis of Optic Neuritis at present - but they will keep following you and watching for any signs.  Sometimes it takes diseases  some time to really show themselves - glaucoma is a prime example.  For now - take comfort in the fact that they didn't find anything bad.  Continue to moniter things very closes and keep regular follow up apppointments.  Have you had  corneal topography done, testing for cataracts?  I'm sorry I can't offer anything more.
