Retina Tear

I had 2 small retinal tears - I had the lazer procedure done... but the next day I had a huge floater that swirled in front of my eye.  I went back in the next day & then they said I had more tears.  They performed more lazer treatments.  Today I still have the swirling floater & blurriness.  The Dr told me the swirling floater was blood in my eye & that it would go away over time.  Is that correct?  Will my blurriness go away as well?

Will the blurriness go away when the blood goes away - I'm concern that this is permanent?

It it is a small amount of blood it will usually resolve in weeks to months.  If it is a large amount of blood, sometimes surgery is needed to remove it if it doesn't resolve on its own after a few months.
