Blue scelera

Hi, im 18 and since starting university a couple of months ago ive noticed a blueish type mark in the corner of both sceleras and sometimes my eyes become bloodshot, im not sure what it is yet seems unusual, im using my laptop alot of the time and wonder if its due to eye-strain?

The bluish mark is probably normal.  The redness can be due to dryness induced from prolonged computer use.

The growth of corneal blood vessels is caused by corneal micro-trauma by the contact lenses or stress taken from too much exposure from radiated displays from your computer and lack of adequate corneal oxygenation. Given your recent symptoms, you need to consult your eye doctor immediately.
