Snow Vision?

When I look at the sky or a blank wall, I see clear circles and zig zag lines, but I also see flickering white lights.  When I close my eyes I see a group of red and green lights that crossed my eyes, I sometimes see them in the dark as well.  I was wondering if this is snow vision.  I red and green lights I've always seen since I was a child but not the white flickering lights.  I was also wondering if the floaters will ever disappear, I've been seeing them for over a month now.

I've seen a neuro opthalmologist and she said my eyes look fine and the floaters are part of the eyes, she believes they will eventually settle.  I thought floaters would settle withing a year or so, I'm not sure.  She's performing a ct scan tomorrow of my eyes and head.  I hope everything is fine.  I think she's doing the exam because of droopy eyelids.

My best advise is to have a very thorough complete examination with an ophthalmologist with special attention to the vitreous and retina.  If everything looks OK, then that should be good news for you.  If floaters are present, they will probably never go away, but can change in degree over time.  The good news is that you appear to be able to see normally or so I'm assuming.  I have no specific news or treatments regarding "snow" in the vision.  Basically, you need to have a complete workup and go from there.
