Birght Lights

Hi, I'm a 32 year old female, 34 weeks pregnant ... have some annoying floaters in both eyes, dormant histoplasmosis and today I saw in both eyes many very tiny bright lights all over my field of vision.  It only lasted 2-3 seconds, then I closed my eyes, opened them back up they were gone.  (I didn't notice anything when I had my eyes closed).  What could this be?  Could this be stress or an early warning sign of something else?

Thanks for your time.

I forgot to mention also that I was getting highlights done to my hair and just after I happened to inhale the fumes this happened so possibly this visual disturbance was a result of the fumes from the highlights??

Thank you, that's what I was thinking too with regards to the length of time the episode happened and everything has been fine since.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Typically bad things don't last just 2 or 3 seconds so hopefully it was just a tempory change in blood flow to the eye or the brain causing a brief visual disturbance.  Since I am not your doctor and you are pregnant I cannot give you personal medical advise, so it is impotant that you speak with your own personal obstetrician and eye doctor.
