Was Blind For 6 Weeks

7 years ago I was in the middle of moving, I came upon a box that Rats had gotten into. I started to go through the box and my friend yell out get away from that box. In 20 mins I was coughing and my right eye had swollen shut, then 30 mins later my left eye. Both eyes were huge, I went to the ER, I had blood coming from my eyes, it took the Doctors 2 days to find out what was wrong. They said I had serve Pink Eye, the worst they have ever seen, in both eyes. I was blind for 6 weeks, going back to the ER because nothing was working. When it did clear up, I had a lot of scaring in my  left eye, would not even register on an eye exam. I still get stuff in my eye and it get's raw, red, always has water in it. It's driving me crazy, and looks awful. I do hot towels which helps for the moment, maybe an  hour 1 or 2, then right back to the same thing. Is there anything that can be done for this?
Thank you~

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
First, you need to consult or visit with a ophthalmologist (Eye MD)...a medical doctor who specializes in the eye and surrounding tissues. The most difficult thing for a medical doctor to do is make the correct diagnosis. This is the true skill of medicine. Once the right diagnosis is made, then an appropriate treatment can be formulated. You need to see an ophthalmologist for the correct diagnosis.
