brown sign in the eye

hello,i am from greece,im 21 years old and i would like to ask you a few questions..i was 10 years old when i pull in my right eye a brown sign,like a brown spot..honestly,i have no idea how it appeared,just remember that they had watched my parents and one friend..after a few days i visited an ophtalmologist,examined the eye and told me that is something like olive on the eye and generally there is no workaround..but the last years began to concern too much and more every day..honestly,i have no confidence,i dont want to look the people in the eyes..generally,i cant look ahead and im back in all situations of my life..i miss courage and this thing is yhe cause :( So,one year ago i viseted a doctor again and told me that he never teased because these signs are melanocytes and can cause damage.You know if there is any way to remove it from my eye?Please, help me..believe me i have a big problem with it..

Dear doctor,thank you very much for your answer..does not mobile,is fixed...and the color is brown..is in the white of the eye..i dont feel pain,but I really want to remove it for cosmetic purposes..how possible is to removed and how?should be surgery???

Hi Maria,
It can possibly be removed, but this would be for cosmetic purposes only. Does it appear to be mobile or is it fixed and not mobile. Is it brown or slate-gray in color? It needs to be diagnosed first. Some discolorations are called melanosis while others are called Primary Acquired Melanosis (PAM). Diagnosis first is the key. Have your ophthalmologist write down a diagnosis.
