dimmed vision in one eye

Hello, I have an eye problem and need some advice. I'm a 39 y.o. male. For the past 5 months the whole field of vision of my left eye is slightly dimmer. It gets worse after walking or any physical exercise and improves after rest, but without getting back to normal. Sometimes the dimming gets slightly worse without any apparent reason and then improves, always fluctuating within a range, never getting completely normal nor very dim.

MRI and OCT tests came negative. The doctors I've visited can't find the cause of my eye problem.

Could you please help me with some advice.

Thank you in advance.

have you seen an ophthalmologist, glaucoma specialist, or neuro-ophthalmologist.  If not, I would.  There are a few different disorders that can cause this but you need to have formal visual field testing, glaucoma evaluation (including gonioscopy and exam for transillumination defects), and careful look at your optic nerves.

Also, as I've been under severe stress during past years, can the problem be stress-related?

Thank you for your answer.

I've visited a couple of ophthalmologists and a neurologist, but not a glaucoma specialist or a neuro-ophthalmologist.

Could you please tell me which disorders can cause these symptoms?

Thank you.
