diplopia

Hi,
I am a 38 years old female. A month ago I started having transient horizontal diplopia. My ophthalmologist said it is nothing bad, just my eyes not converging when looking at distance. He also said that if it gets worse to go back to him. Since then I started having vertical double vision  and also somethimes when I look at my right the two images are oblique ( the fake image is side by side but higher than the real image ) . Does this mean that my diplopia is worse and I should go back to the doctor or it is has the same cause ?
Thank you,
Laura

Dear Lau10,

I would definitely recommend that you seek the assistance of your eyeMD to determine the cause of your double vision.
