eye pain

hi, my son 2yr old, he is complianing some pain in either eyes, which is intermitent & not much severe
no red eye/no tear and no other eye related problems.

he had injury to right eye since 2months back while playing on swing, he fell down from moving swing of <2 feet height. At the time there is lot of both lid edema, however no injury to eye ball. we consult eye doctor on next day morning. After all eye examination they sure that no injury to right eye except edema.

my question is anything related to trauma causing eyepain or any other cause.

This current pain may have nothing to do with previous injury.  2year olds definitely have touble expressing what they are feeling or what caused the eye pain.  It could be something like a little sand in the eye or something else.  I'm surprised that you say it is intermittant. In my experience if something very irritating is going on in the eye - everyone will definitely know it as the kid will tear constantly, be crying and rubbing the eye.  In the end, I really can't say what the problem is - I just know you need to see his pediatrician for starters.
