Some individuals, especially those prone to headaches or migraine, are just very sensitive to bright focal light sources in dark backgrounds.  Heavy computer use makes this worse, often.  First you should have a comprehensive exam by an Eye MD to see if something simple can be done like giving you glasses for night driving.  Find one near you at www.aao.org.

i had the same problem. do you work on the computer a lot? I went to America's Best and got a pair of glasses for driving/distance that have a very mild perscription. If you work at computers all day - it can make you much more sensitive to light & seeing at night can be tough.
